About Me
Probably the first question on your mind right now is why I’m a “writer” when I don’t want to write? The answer to that question is surprisingly simple. When a story enters my cluttered, little mind, writing is the only thing to get it out.
E.L. Doctorow said, “Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.” That is actually true. My characters talk to me and I talk back. On the rare occasion I notice someone giving me a weird look, I simply smile at them and say, “It’s okay, I’m a writer.” And every time, they smile back and nod as though that one sentence explains everything. It’s glorious.
Now, I suppose, you might like some real information about me. In truth, there isn’t much to tell. I’m a full-time student trudging very slowly towards a bachelors in Marketing. I also work full-time as Marketing Coordinator for Silkworm, Inc. Every college student hopes to get a job out of their summer internship; well, I actually did it. I’m married to the most wonderful man in the world. Seriously, most girls fall in love with Mr. Darcy. I found him, mostly by luck. That covers the basics, after this you’ll have to read to find out my dirty secrets.
Lots of Love

I’m a full-time sophomore majoring in English Lit.
I hate writing, and I love writing, and I hate that I love it because I hate it. It’s exhausting and yet I have to keep trying.
I know exactly what you mean. It’s awfully wonderful.

I sometimes describe it as fantastically terrible, but we’re on the same page. Writing is so exhausting. If I’m not actually writing, I’m reading about writing. And if I can’t do that, I guarantee I’m thinking about it. It’s weird how it consumes me (and from reading about other writers, I’m not the only one.)
